MRES Grandparents Lunch

In honor of Grandparents day, we will invite all grandparents the opportunity to come eat lunch with their grandchild. They can either bring their lunch, or purchase lunch from the cafeteria.

Tuesday, Sept 12: K, 5th
Wednesday, Sept 13: 1st, 4th
Thursday, Sept 14: 2nd, 3rd

What are the hours at Morganton Road Elementary?

The building opens for students and parents at 8:00 a.m. The tardy bell rings at 8:30 a.m. Walkers and daycare students are dismissed at 2:52 p.m. Bus rider students are dismissed at 3:00 p.m. Car rider students are dismissed at 3:05 p.m.

Students are not to be checked out after 2:30 p.m.

What is the Community Eligibility Program?: Cumberland County Schools (CCS) Child Nutrition Services is excited to announce The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) will be offered in 56 of our schools for the 2017-2018 school year.  The provision will enable each student enrolled in the participating schools to receive a breakfast and lunch at no cost on days when school is in session. Morganton Road Elementary is one of 56 schools that offer breakfast and lunch at no cost for students.

What information do I need to register my child at MRES?

  • Student’s Birth Certificate
  • Student’s Immunization Record
  • Parent / Legal Guardian Identification
  • Proof of Address:

 Mortgage or Current Utility Bill

(Birth Parent’s Name  must appear on document)

  • Custody / Guardianship paperwork  ( If applicable)
  • North Carolina Health Assessment ( For any student enrolling in a North Carolina school for the fist time)
  • 2016-2017 Report Card and or Withdrawal Form from previous school.

Utility Bill includes: Water, Gas, or Electric Bill.  Bill must be dated within the last 60 days.  Past due and Final notice bills will not be accepted.

NOTE:   

Students may only be registered by their parent or legal guardian.  Must provide custody / guardianship paperwork if applicable.
